I passed plab 2, got full GMC registration and have started a stand alone F2 position at University of Leicester teaching hospitals with rotations in renal medicine, cardiothoracic surgery and then GP. It is interesting seeing the differences in medicine in China and the UK.
Studying in China was a fascinating experience and fully prepared me for the plab 1 and 2 examinations. The application process for studying in China is relatively simple and the tuition fees are reasonable. There are also opportunities for partial scholarships for those with top grades.
